Richard Smith is a minor character in The Demon's Light. He is Steven Devlin's co-worker who works at The Laboratory of the Unexplainable.
Background
Richard worked in the laboratory before he met Steven. He taught Steven science at school and found he had a very high intelligence. Steven was then introduced to the laboratory, where he decided to study "The Legend of The Demon's Light."

He is seen sitting outside the hospital rooms waiting to take the group of teens back to the lab.
Relationships
Steven Devlin
Richard tutors Steven from a young age and gives him access to the laboratory. He tells Steven that he thinks of him as "the son he never had."
