Hi there! Welcome to my message wall! Please feel free to leave a message here. I will always try and keep my comments positive, but please forgive me if I ever fail to do so! :)
I reserve the right to close or remove any messages that are left on my message wall at anytime, but I am unlikely to do this, unless they are for the following reasons:
Harassment — I will always remove harassment messages from my message wall upon discovery. Please do not restore them, because like I said, I reserve the right to close or remove any messages that are left on my message wall at anytime. Users who repeatedly attempt to restore harassment messages will be reported.
Spamming/Trolling — I will always remove these messages from my message wall upon discovery, since they obviously nonconstructive and have no value to me.
Personal Attacks/Insults — I will always remove these messages from my message wall upon discovery. While I am a difficult person to offend, insults and personal attacks are not to be taken lightly, as they are still not okay to do.
Necrobumping — Usually I don't trouble to close old messages, but if a user necrobumps an old message on my message wall that has nothing to do with them, I will remove the user's response, and close the thread.
As I explained the last time you removed categories out of Downtown Freezy's sandbox, it's fine to include such categories (and others like it) in sandboxes when creating a page. There is no guideline or rule here that says it's "intentionally reserved" for certain pages or that sandboxes cannot be placed in such categories. So please, do not enforce a guideline that doesn't exist. I'm not going to revert the edit on the page this time, however, since Downtown Freezy seemingly has no interest in developing the page further so far.
It's a common practice that categories shouldn't be included in sandbox pages unless they are directly intended for the sandbox namespace. I know that each wiki is different, but this is a practice that I know a lot of wikis go by.
If this wiki isn't one of them then that's okay. But most wikis that I've edited would have an issue with sandbox pages being placed in those categories, because sandboxes are meant to be kept separate from articles.
Away, then! I am lock'd in one of them:
If you do love me, you will find me out.
Nerissa and the rest, stand all aloof.
Let music sound while he doth make his choice;
Then, if he lose, he makes a swan-like end,
Fading in music: that the comparison
May stand more proper, my eye shall be the stream
And watery death-bed for him. He may win;
While your actions have broken the rules of The Demon's Light Wiki, I feel you deserve an apology for what we as a community have put you through. From the deepest, darkest pits of our abysmal hearts, we— no, I. I apologize. I feel the community as a whole could reciprocate these feelings. Thank you for your time as an administrator/sysop on The Demon's Light Wiki.
Also for future reference, I wouldn't recommend asking another user to remove your ban if you've already contacted a user and they choose not to remove the ban. It just makes you look desperate, and TDL Staff usually don't remove bans without consulting each other first.
I can honestly say that I don't tend to remove bans unless they were accidental, the other staff members have agreed, or the ban was blatantly unjustified. In this case, it's none of them.
