Beth shook her head at his reply, but moved on from the conversation knowing there was no point in disagreeing. "What exactly are we building anyways?" She asked as he forced another wire into place.
[[Tessa Lancaster|Beth]] and [[Richard Smith|Richard]] sat in the [[Laboratory of the Unexplainable]] with tools scattered around them as Richard used small pliers to plug blue wires into a metal cube, Beth smirked slightly, shaking her head when Richard placed the wire wrong causing it to spark shocking his finger.
"Shouldn't you be wearing gloves?" She asked, taking the pliers from him as he nursed his injured finger and placing the wire correctly into its slot.
Support - To be fair I thought we already did this.
"Ever since I got my memories back, I've slowly been remembering other key information. It's not that I wasn't telling you, it's that information hadn't come back to me yet. But I remember it now, I never really paid much attention before though, so probably why I didn't remember right away."
Melissa answered with a distracted expression as she recounted what she remembered.
But I do remember how we met at the barn though. You had a small group of demon hunters, you guys showed up at Jasinski when my squad had rushed into the battle. I remember running out of the village with you after your team was slaughtered, I don't know what happened to my squad after that, but we were both pretty banged up and ended up running into the barn for shelter. We lost our memories due to injuries from that day."
Melissa sighed deep in thought as she took the bottle from Chris. "Steven was a great brother... He always wanted to protect me and all I ever did was rebel against him. I thought I knew everything. We were really all each other had, that's why he was against me leaving and I wish I had listened to him... I abandoned my own brother for who knows how long, only to come back and then not even know who he was and be the reason he ended up dying." It should've been me, not him., she thought, not paying attention to the others' reactions as she spoke.
Downtown Freezy: Neutral
I have not been active enough to see rather or not his behavior as changed since last AR but he has helped majorly with rewriting wiki pages.
South Ferry: Support
South has always been active, respectful and helpful on the wiki so he has my full support.
While he might not be as active as some would like He is helpful when needed so I vote support because the wiki does need him.
"Just shut up, Steven. I don't want to hear this nonsense anymore," Melissa snapped, turning around in anger and with slight tears dripping from her eyes. She felt a heavy mixture of feelings - sadness, disappointment, worry, shame.
They had come this far only to be captured, only to have their only hope given up by one of their own. This was so unlike the Steven she knew, he had always been a solid rock.
She began to take slow and steady breathes, calming herself before speaking again. "You know, Steven, I remember the day I left for the Militia. You were so angry at me, you called it a suicide squad then too and I fought you every bit of the way. But you were strong, relentless, did not give up on your view. Even after I was already walking to join them. What happened to you?"
She felt Steven's steady gaze focus on her, as her words shocked even herself. She didn't know how, but she felt a strange sense. Memories of times forgotten flooding her mind - faint memories of her parents, times with Richard and Steven growing up, forgotten pets and friends.
Gasping at this revelation, she held her hand to her mouth. "I remember..."
"You've always been a coward," she told him. "I might not remember our childhood, but from what I've seen of you now, it probably wasn't much different! You hide from any slight sign of danger, that's probably why I joined the militia in the first place. You are so overbearing and controlling!"
She shoved him off. "Do not grab me like that again, that is the third time you have done that. You can believe whatever you want but it was not the best choice to just give up like that." she said before sitting down on her own bed.
Given recent events happening in the server and in chat I feel I need to explain why I voted oppose more: Syde has been known to bully any and all users who disagree with him / want him demoted The end of 2017:
Syde having harsh personal feelings about Brick would enforce rules Brick was not breaking and would always bicker with him and us, he even would close Brick's message walls to harass him. One night a user was spamming chat and Syde wouldn't do anything so Brick told him to do this job. In return Syde banned Brick and did nothing to the spammer.
Following this Syde harassed the mods and admins who wanted him demoted for such actions and threw really big fits and threatening to create demotion threads against the admins who was supporting his removal this all ended with him being suspended for a month. May 2018: Syde had continued his bad behavior for many months, in May we had a Admin Review in which I and a few other users voted oppose, Syde harassed one member into changing her vote. When I refused to change mine, Syde harassed me daily in chat was really harsh to me in staff chat and on the wiki for 4 months after the vote up until I retired from staff. July 2019:
We voted oppose on Syde and he begged until we changed the vote
Now: Syde recently did a mass edit that had to be reverted because he didn't pay attention to the community enough to know the plans. He was aggressive about the reverting. When I reverted one of my pages he made said edits on he left a message I saw to be semi-aggressive. But as Korra said on the thread, he already knew the reason for the revert because we discussed it in chat. Since this his behavior has been aggressive especially towards Quinton and hes been very rude and hostile towards everyone even stirring up drama in his server talking badly about TDL which is very un-admin-like.
"How do you know that's not what they are gonna do to us next? Do you really think they will treat us kindly forever?" She replied.
Melissa glared and took a breath, fuming with anger. "We knew this was a risk when we all agreed to take part of this mission. Just because we get caught doesn't mean we throw the others under the bus, we could have stalled them. At least to let Marshall and Atticus get a good head start. We might've gotten hurt really badly. but it's what we agreed to from the start. We didn't come here to betray our friends at the first flicker of danger!" She said. "I have never been more disappointed in you than I am right now."
"It wasn't logical, it was stupid now we are stuck in these cells for the rest of our lives!" She yelled.
Melissa gasped as she got a splitting headache, she closed her eyes placing her hand over them. She thought back to the dream she had and shook her head opening her eyes once more. "You shouldn't have told them," she said in a whispering voice to Steven. "Now we are locked in here while Atticus and Marshall could be getting killed."
The squad walked into the arena, they had been training for weeks, Narcissa, Zion, and Kalyn had become quite close, but all were itching to be on a real mission, and today was that day, they got notice that Commander Thero was calling all the new trouts to send out squads finally.
They were the last to line up as Thero marched down the line giving his speech. He paused and looked at Kalyn. "Your squad is late, again. Can you explain why this is?"
