Neutral - while it would be nice to have a specific channel for role-play, as to keep track of RP conversations, it would cause activity in main chat to drop drastically. As Downtown Freezy mentioned, the only way we were able to revive the server was to discuss in main. For now, I think it's best to leave RP discussion in main chat as it is now.
Downtown Freezy: strong support - I will say, I am pleasantly surprised. Despite a rocky beginning, DTF has shown time and time again that, when needed, he can be a responsible and mature staff member. He is also very productive and is one of the main driving forces to the wiki and the RP. I do not remember what I voted on his admin promotion but I am glad he became admin, as he has worked well for the role.
Octopus Wizard: support - OW works well and has good behavior for a staff member. While his presence can sometimes be lacking, he does his work on time.
Qstlijku: oppose (possible demote) - I have nothing against Q, he is a very nice user and his behavior is correct for a staff member. However, he is very distant when it comes to the wiki and has no involvement in the RP. While the latter is not necessarily a problem, doubled with the fact that Q barely does anything on the wiki (to my knowledge), and his activity alone isn't great, it doesn't make for a very good ensemble. I'm sure he is a good admin, but I don't think he is cut out for being an admin on TDL. Perhaps he could be demoted to discord moderator, but for now, I'll oppose his hold on the admin position.
Quinton1721: oppose - I have waited for 1721's behavior to improve a lot. And while there have been some improvements, he, in my honest opinion, doesn't have the behavior necessary to stay a staff member. It is hard for me to explain, but overall, I do not think 1721 is cut out to be part of the team in charge of TDL. He also has a tendency to stall the RP, has a hard time sharing his full ideas, and takes time on small edits. While his editing is might be good, he can do that just fine as a normal user. In the future, when he is more put together, perhaps he can apply for a role again.
TheKorraFanatic: very strong support - I have no complaints, TKF has been an excellent bureaucrat time and time again and continues to do. He's very involved in the RP, and pushes us to strive further. I'm very impressed and I hope he stays this way until the death of this wiki.
Support - there is nothing to go against here.
Everyone did fine, mostly. This doesn't speak for Paramount1106 or GarfieldTC because I haven't seen enough of their RP to say anything. TheKorraFanatic carries the RP, per usual, and Downtown Freezy+Octopus Wizard were his main sidekicks. Chase McFly and Quinton 1721 did fine too.
Support.
“I guess so.” Savannah nodded.
She gently pushed back Cicero’s hand and walked over to her desk, picking up the book.
“I’d love to help you but... I can’t seem to get a grip on this whole reality manipulation thing. I’ve been training but I haven’t been able to make much progress.”
“I’m fine,” Savannah said. “Just couldn’t sleep. What happened to your arm?”
Savannah felt like she was floating. Images breezed past her, memories of her former lives. With each memory, she felt urgency, an urgency to fight. Voices blended together, each word becoming harder to distinguish than the next. Faces appeared before her, faces she recognized but couldn’t name. She knew there was something, something important, she just couldn’t remember what.
Savannah woke up, gasping. It was still dark outside; she hadn’t slept for long. She got out of bed, knowing she wouldn’t be able to sleep, not for a long time, the sense of urgency still lingering. She walked over to her desk, and scanned her room. It wasn’t very big and only had three pieces of furniture: a bed, a closet and a desk. It was a bit dull for her taste, but it was the only things necessary for her stay.
She thought about going to the training room to work on her sword-fighting techniques, but decided against it, as it would seem a bit odd to start training in the middle of the night. She looked at her desk and picked up a book she’d found lying around somewhere. She took a deep breath, standing up straight, memorizing the shape of the book well before closing her eyes. Her reality manipulation was getting better but not as good as she would like it to be. If she wanted to be able to control it, she needed to work harder. Her eyebrows knitted together, and she squeezed her eyes, imagining the book was made of clay, and she was shaping it, ripping it in two. The book shook, bending a bit and stilled. Almost, Savannah thought. I just need more practice. She sat at her desk and rubbed the tiredness from her eyes, before returning her attention to the book.
Downtown Freezy: support - despite his past controversies, he is a good assistant, and formerly, a good chat mod. He has really improved, which is good. I'm proud of him.
Octopus Wizard: support - he is a good assistant, which was expected, and takes his work seriously. There has been complaints about his activity, but I won't pick on it, as I am not an active user myself. I'm sure he'll keep up the good work.
Qstlijku: neutral, leaning towards demote - Q is a fine admin, but I think he isn't that well invested in editing. He's more of a social admin, and with chat gone, there isn't much he has done, in terms of editing. I think if he were demoted to a lower position, like assistant, or a mod on the server (if there is that possibility), it would suit him better.
Quinton1721: neutral - 1721 has definitely improved since his last AR, though I don't really think I am ready to support him yet. Maybe next AR.
TheKorraFanatic: very strong support - TKF is the leader of TDL and is one of the only people keeping the RP and this wiki alive. So, no need to demote him, and there never will be, unless he changes drastically, which I highly doubt he will.
Raisa waved her hand away.
"You can do it another time. We have more important matters to attend. Now, have you thought of an answer to Xanvi's question? It's not something to take lightly, unlike your training."
"You could work on your balance," Raisa said. "Stumbling around won't do you any good, and you've been working on this for a good while now. Laziness won't get you anywhere."
I would like to note that I am not good at judging anyone's role-play skills and because of my unfortunate inactivity due to personal reasons, I have not been around much to observe any behaviors. However, I shall try my best.
Chase McFly - fine role-player, could work a bit more on differentiating characters/voices.
Downtown Freezy - good role-player, one of the main backbones of the RP.
Endercat TM - I need to improve, that's for sure. From what I've seen on this thread, my replies tend to lack emotion or characterization; a feat I wasn't aware of until now. I hope to be able to work on my role-playing, even with my busy schedule that has seem to taken place. However, I ask of my fellow role-players to please criticize and review my replies instead of just saying "the reply is fine." It leaves me thinking the reply is fine, when it reality, it could be better. And hopefully, in Season Three, I'll be able to come up with my own ideas. I haven't done so now simply because I don't know how to fit anything into the role-play, or what to come up with. I will try my best.
Gallibon the Destroyer - he is a fine role-player but from what I remember (granted, this was months ago so it might've changed) but he entered scenes without his character not being there and his replies could be a bit nonsensical. Regardless, he is good at his role and is a great addition to this wiki.
Messenger of Heaven - I haven't seen much of her so I can't say much.
Octopus Wizard - good role-player and writer. One of the other main backbones of the RP.
Hartington... - his replies were okay but I think the commitment wasn't present (shocking, coming from me). He would often allude to replying but never did, would troll about it sometimes or just simply wouldn't reply. A shame, seeing as his replies weren't bad.
Quinton1721 - I haven't seen any of his most recent replies but his older ones were good, when 1721 wanted to be serious. I do think 1721 could work on taking criticism better. We all need it if we want to improve, and from what I've heard/observed, 1721 would always deflect it and get mad when it was given to him but would be harsher with fellow role-players.
All in all, I'm sure he is a great role-player, but he has a few things to work on, like everyone does.
South Ferry - good role-player, shame he left the RP. Some of his character(s) could've had a bit more personality though, instead of being a blank slate.
SparkyBoi45 - I have not seen enough of their role-playing to take any conclusion.
TheKorraFanatic - good role-player, one the main driving forces of the RP.
"I did nothing wrong! Let me go," the angel said, squirming in the guard's grip. "I won't tell anyone you're here, I promise! I just want to visit my son's grave. He... he died in battle and... I've been struggling ever since. I-I just wanted to talk to him and to ask my god for strength... i-it's been so hard..."
Neutral.
Support.
"Is there even a way of getting it?" Savannah asked. "This all sounds so... strange. How long do I supposedly have?"
"Are you saying I need the other half to survive? I've already died once, I don't want to do it again" Savannah said, starting to panic.
No, oppose. The comments are fine.
"Oh, I remember that!" Savannah exclaimed. "Me and some... friends saw it streak across the sky a few months back."
She paused, processing what Cicero said.
"So, you're saying that I can do Aegis-class reality manipulation? How does that work? And what about my soul? Am I incomplete, seeing as I only have one part of it? How is it even possible that I have two souls?"
"Yeah, maybe I should," Savannah said and crossed her arms. She stalked out of the room and continued down the hallway, fuming. Then, she stopped and turned around to Cicero.
"I don't know how to do this 'god' stuff," she said. "It's... just hard and really confusing. Sorry if I'm a bit short-tempered."
